Mini Golf

This is the closest any of us got to a school during our 4-day weekend!
Monday we took the kids miniature golfing for the first time with some free passes we've had; they LOVED it. At one point Trent said "this is the best day EVER!", which was hilarious because I had them doing chores and housework all morning long.

Lauren keeping score.

She cut another tooth last week. Again I had no idea she was even teething until the tooth was already totally in. One more reason she is the best baby in the world!

We laid down a few rules at the beginning of the course, things like "only one person on the green at a time", "no hitting the ball if someone is on the green", "look around you before you swing", "wait until everyone is finished before starting the next hole" and "any score higher than a 6 gets a score of 6"... that was a good one! Needless to say, all rules were broken by the third hole, we had a few casualties, nothing too serious, and we only lost a few balls way off into other areas of the course.

This picture is hilarious, obviously Trent swung... and missed!
Still working on that hand-eye coordination.

We wished we had our video camera to capture Trey trying to get his ball in the hole. Darin and I were laughing so hard we had tears running down our face. He hit the ball over, and over, and over again, missing the hole every time. He just kept going, never frustrated, but determined to do it. Finally the ball would go in and his face would light up and he'd say "I did it, I got a 23!"
So funny! We still have more free passes, the kids were begging to go back on Tuesday, we'll definitely go back soon.

I've been telling Kirk that the kids would love miniature golf-now I have proof. Thanks!
