Eventually the curls have to go; but why is it so hard to give that
FIRST HAIRCUT?
Lauren's hair is so much finer and straighter than Julia's. Her hair has been falling down over her eyes for weeks now and the back was so uneven. One side was growing out straight, the other side curly. I've been putting off cutting the back afraid that once the curls were cut, they'd be gone forever. I'm also not a big fan of bangs. I had them for years, and they were so hard to grow out! I swore I'd never give my daughter bangs, but it seemed like the best thing to do for now. After struggling to hold her head still with one hand and cut a straight line with the other, I realized a little too late that I am definitely not qualified to cut bangs and I should have paid a professional to do the job. For now, it'll have to do.

I went through the same thing with Sara a month ago...she was getting a pretty ugly mullet so we HAD to cut it. But it looks like her curls are coming back, so don't give up hope. She looks great by the way. Good job!
You did a good job. Much better than Capri's first cut! Do you remember how short her bangs were?
