Camping isn't so bad when you have a view like this!
My Dad took this picture from one of the oceanview sites at San Elijo, where we spent 3 days and 2 nights camping with him and with my sister, Joanna and her family.
It was a wonderful trip full of memories to treasure. The view was just breathtaking. I could have stayed the rest of the week, no problem! The water was warm, the beach was perfect for the kids, and the waves... well the waves kept my husband out in the water for over 2 hours straight! Even Joanna and I went out and joined him for a while and tried to catch some. It was a lot of fun.
Even little miss Lauren fell in love with the water. Running, splashing, laughing, falling....
The boys found this long piece of seaweed that they used to jump rope. Even Grandpa and I took a turn.

Darin, Kirk and the boys dug a huge hole.

Thank you Grandpa for a fun-filled vacation. We love you and can't wait for next year!

You & Joanna sure love to camp & the beach:). It apparently is a triat that your twin did not get...which I'm grateful for, since I'm not the camper...more of the amusement park hoppin', bed & breakfast, condo renting type of girl. Glad you guys are having a great summer. Can't believe that you will have 3 in school this year, crazy!
