Tonight during dinner Julia asked if Santa would be bringing Grandma Kirkpatrick presents in Heaven. It was such a sweet moment. She asks about Grandma often, usually when we are reading the scriptures and teaching her about Heavenly Father's plan for us. She loves her Grandma and has a genuine love and concern for her and really wants to see her again.
I've been thinking about Grandma all night.
Next week it will be one year since our last visit.
I remember Julia sang to her.
Twinkle twinkle little star & I am a Child of God.
Grandma sang along with tears streaming down her cheeks.
It was so beautiful.
I am grateful to know that because of Jesus, we will see Grandma again. Julia will like that, very much.
