The Man I love is celebrating a birthday tomorrow.
I struggled all week thinking of what I could give him. He is one of those rare men who never really wants any "thing", especially if it costs a lot of his hard earned money.
Then night before last, I thought of the beautiful Blue Lantern Inn up on the cliff at Dana Point and prayed that:
1. They would have a room available
and
2. Getting away for a night would make Darin feel like a million bucks.
and

Well, it was my lucky day! Not only did we get a beautiful room with the most amazing view of the harbor and ocean, but Darin LOVED IT!
This Bed & Breakfast style Inn was quiet, charming and everything we could wish for a romantic get away- from the fireplace and jacuzzi tub in our room, to the warm, cozy robes and yummy breakfast in the morning. We had the most wonderful time. He said it was the best gift I could have given him and suggested we go back every year for his birthday... I think I could arrange that!
Is this not the happiest guy alive?

Janell...first off... I TOTALLY know who you are. You probably don't remember, but we have met...at Bruin's 1st Birthday party, and at your ward Halloween party a few years back.
