We're 30!
I had a fabulous 30th Birthday this year. Darin sent me off to Glen Ivy Day Spa for a much needed day away. It really was wonderful, but one birthday wish remained unfilled until last Friday. I just couldn't bear to post about my birthday until this wish had come true. So finally, after having lunch with my twin brother, Jonathan, I can say my birthday is complete. I've been blessed with many wonderful people and relationships in my life, but nothing comes close to the unique bond Jonathan and I share. No matter how busy life gets, Jonathan always calls. He's always checking up on me, looking out for me, giving me advice and well wishes. He's ALWAYS been right there. ALWAYS. He's the best twin brother a girl could have!
This is where my sweet hubby sent me for a day of R&R. An entire day just flies by here and 8 hours never seems long enough.
I have the best friends a girl could ask for!
While I was away, Darin and the kids made me this special birthday cake. Darin actually made the chocolate cake entirely from scratch and then let the kids decorate it. It was very tasty!
We ended the day with a quiet night out together.

On another note, it was good to see you too! I saw a few people there I haven't seen in a while. I made the headbands for my girls in our family picture. Very easy. The Pink House fabric store has stretchy elastic (all colors)for 40 cents a yard and I glued flowers to them and turned them into headbands. Hope this helps!!
