Holiday Hoopla

I can't believe another year has come and gone already! We truly enjoyed the Christmas season, the spirit of love, the spirit of giving, the spirit of family and the opportunity to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas. We enjoy the holiday season more and more every year as the children grow and we get to experience it through our each of their eyes. We made so many wonderful memories, here are just a few reasons why Christmas 2009 was truly merry and bright!

School Parties
-Julia's kindergarten class performed a Christmas program, including the songs "5 Little Christmas Trees", "S-A-N-T-A" and "We Wish You A Merry Christmas"!

Ward Party
- This year we celebrated Hawaiian style. The highlight of the night was when the children performed their Polynesian dances. Julia learned a hula to a Lilo & Stitch song and the boys stole the show when they performed the Haka, a Polynesian warrior chant. -

Christmas Sunday
-Joy and Chris joined us for our Ward Christmas Program where the children sang 2 very special Christmas songs.-

Holiday crafts
-We decorated trees and cookies for Santa at Grandma's house on Christmas Eve.-

Visiting with Santa
-He paid us a very special visit at Grandma's house-

Reading the story of The First Christmas

Spending time with family
-Christmas Eve at my Mom & Russ's, Christmas Day at the Salmon's, and the 26th we celebrated at our house with my Dad and Grandma Great.-

and exchanging gifts with those we love.

Most importantly, we will treasure the memories of remembering the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ and celebrating the wondrous gift of His life, which has blessed us all.

The weeks following Christmas have been spent assembling and enjoying the children's new toys.
We have done a lot of

Our family was very blessed in 2009 and we have much to be thankful for. We're looking forward to 2010 and all that it holds in store for us.

Its amazing how time keeps going by faster and faster. Looks like you guys had a fun Christmas.
A few posts back I announced Im preggers. Just 7 week. But when you have family in the ward and in the stake word gets out fast. So, I thought I would rather get it out there. Then people hearing through the grapevine.
