After asking for months, Julia finally started taking dance lessons last week! She is in heaven! She is learning both tap and ballet. Ms. Annie is one of my aerobics instructors at the gym and apparently she has been teaching dance forever too. Right now she is just teaching out of her garage, which is just fine with me. I really just want Julia to have fun and see if this is something she will enjoy. So far she is picking up on everything really quickly. I'm wondering if she will follow in my footsteps and love dance as much as I did.

Part of me is wondering why in the world I don't start teaching dance lessons? After the thousands of dollars my parents paid for 12 + years of dance lessons I know I could definitely teach Julia and her friends how to tap dance!!! I took notes during her last class and listened closely to how Ms. Annie explained the movements to them. I'm pretty sure I have my old tap shoes up in a box somewhere!

You should do it! I would come to you in a heartbeat!!! My parents didn't love me enough to put me in dance so I need to live through Hannah. lol
Thanks for your sweet comment. We had so much fun together snowboarding. We are going to go as much as possible now! We both are pretty good so that makes it even better.
You really should do it! I would love to bring Peyton to you when she gets old enough! I loved taking dance when I was little, so I want my daughter to have the experience too! Good luck!
That's a GREAT idea, Janell! And it's good to hear that you still love dance like you did "back in the day". Not to mention that it would be great exercise for you too! It sounds like you might have enough interest to start a class for the moms as well! Happy Valentine's Day to you, daughter!
