Oh Trey!

Why didn't you just get in the van like you usually do when I pick you up from Kindergarten? Why did you climb ON TOP OF THE VAN as I said hi to Evan's Mom!?!?!? Why were you smiling and so proud of yourself ON TOP OF THE VAN as dozens of parents and YOUR TEACHER stared with mouths wide open?!?!

Please join me in praying that CPS doesn't show up on our door step today.

And YES, Trey got to sit on time out until he agreed that he would NEVER do that again. When I first scolded him and explained why climbing on top of the van is dangerous, he cried and felt sorry. So I asked "Will you ever do that again?" To my horror he replied "I don't know" !!!! It took a few more minutes of time out for him to decide that he wouldn't do it again.

Oh Trey!

You weren't driving with him on top of the van were you? If not, I wouldn't worry too much! :)

I'd say he takes after his Grandpa! When I was 17 I jumped onto the hood of my buddy's pickup truck because he locked my door (on purpose). He took off and drove around the corner (about 20 feet). A cop was there: wrote me a ticket for riding on the hood of a truck, and wrote my buddy a ticket for driving with a passenger on the hood of his vehicle. We were both ashamed of ourselves, and we each had to pay a ticket of over $100 (this was back in 1971!) Dad and Grandpa Monroe

That's kind of funny! I'm glad he didn't get hurt.

I haven't checked your blog in a long time, but mine is blocked now... so could you email me your email address? malia6@gmail.com

PS I hope your child never does climb on top of the roof of your van again.

Oh, that seems like normal behavior in this house. I would have loved to stand back and seen every ones faces. LOL
