Sand between my toes

Today we spent the day at Newport Beach with our friends, the Matheson's. I just love feeling the sand between my toes! There is nothing like the beach, nothing! Especially when you are with friends. Even when June gloom is in full effect and you're wondering "where's the sun?", there really isn't anywhere else I'd rather be.

A little football, a little frisbee, some kite-flying, shell-finding, and boogie-boarding. The kids even caught a crab, a real crab... and dug up a few clams!
