Unforgettable

From the costumes and make-up, to the stage, lights and music, everything about last night was magical. I am so proud of Julia and the talented little dancer she's become. There is just something wonderful about watching your little girl follow in your footsteps. I remember when I used to dream of having a daughter, and I'd imagine all the fun girlie things I loved as a child, like hair bows, nail polish, barbies and dance recitals! It was like watching one of my dreams come true. So silly, I know! But I know you mother's out there know exactly what I'm talking about.

Julia's first dance recital theme was "Big Top Circus" and Miss Annie was the "ring master", dressed in full costume, top hat and all! The performances were all centered around the circus theme. The dances included clowns, show girls, magic acts, high wire and our favorite... the dog act and the flying trapeze (Julia's dances).

Julia's tap routine was to the song "Who let the dogs out?". She was dressed as a poodle!


Her ballet dance was the flying trapeze act. They did so well!
Julia has had a wonderful time dancing with her best-friends Capri and Emily (not pictured).


I'd say Heavenly Father sent me the best of the best when he sent me my Jules! Isn't she the prettiest thing you've ever seen? (serious mommy bragging going on here!)
