Julia started preschool last week! She is in Trey and Bruin's tiny tots class. Her teachers say she is doing really well; amazingly she listens to them and follows directions (anyone who knows Julia's strong-willed personality understands that this is very encouraging news!). After school she will ask me to listen to her sing the alligator song, the I love you song, the itsy bitsy spider song and every other song she learned that day. It's funny that Trey has been in this class for over a year and has never mentioned singing! He is usually interested in telling me about snack time and whether or not his teacher did an "underdog" when he was on the swings! What a boy! All three of the kids love being in the same class and Lauren and I are enjoying our special time together while the rest of the family is at school.
I am starting to wonder though if I knew what I was getting into when I enrolled Julia in preschool. It was so simple with the boys, but like everything, when Princess Julia is involved there is always drama. So, I picked up the kids last Thursday and the first thing Julia said to me as we walked out was "a little boy said "you're pretty" to me!" She was grinning ear to ear and like any girl was thrilled by the compliment. I'm thinking to myself, "she's only 3! I can't believe this is happening already!" Apparently we'll be fighting off the boys much sooner than we expected!

I had to laugh at the "underdog" thing- cuz everytime I am at the park I have to do an "underdog" like Mr. Manuel. It becomes difficult when I have Hudson either in my arms or in the baby bjorn. Our boys are definately different than our girls.
wow, school what a big girl!!
its amazing how girls and boys just come wired differently! love it. but watch out, daddy's gonna be fighting off all the boys coming after his pretty girls!
